Permanent WordPress Developer Role(s)

We are on the lookout for one or more WordPress developers to join the Glass Mountains team. Est in 2001, we have a core flexible team of 6 servicing WordPress clients in the UK and the US.

This will either be one full-time permanent role – or it might be split into two part-time roles (depending on what candidates are looking for).

You will:

  • Be a highly experienced WordPress developer (not a designer). This probably means you know PHP very well, and have used other frameworks like Laravel
  • Help support our WordPress designers with any aspects of developing/building a WordPress site – especially on the functional side.
  • Troubleshoot issues with WordPress sites (e.g. plugin audit/cleanup)
  • Migrate WordPress sites to better hosting
  • Create a caching strategy (and troubleshoot)
  • Bring ideas to the table

What we offer

err…ok, our offer is a little thin on the ground at the mo but I would say this. This is a permanent role, and will be fully remote – if you are close(ish) we can all meet up every once in a while. You will probably be based in the UK or the US.

Hours are flexible (to be discussed). The role might be full time or two part-time roles.

We have a lot of ongoing WordPress clients (with a scale of projects), so you will be busy (but not too busy, as that’s not fun).

Am looking for one or two people who can grow as part of the business.

Yes, I need to add a lot more details here, but I just wanted to get something out there for now. If you want to start a conversation, feel free to email me – please don’t send CVs/resumes.

Joel

p.s. please, please no agencies, recruiters, or off-shore companies!
